Application

UV curable very low viscosity resin:

  • Cures rapidly to form a glassy, high modulus material.
  • Excellent for use in applications requiring low viscosity, high hardness, and low shrinkage stress.
  • Good for some spray coatings requiring no volatile organic compounds (VOCS).
  • Non-yellowing.
  • Low oxygen inhibition.
  • Mechanical properties after curing:
Modulus*: 683MPa
Strength*: 24.6MPa
Elongation*: 6.1%
Tack free**: 25 fpm

*Test resources: Tensile tester, 35 mm gauge length, 1.0 mm thickness, 6.5 mm width.
** Cured under stated intensity. Medium pressure mercury bulb with 320-500 nm filter. Adhesion tests were conducted using a cross hatch tape test on films 0.125 mm thick on glass and PET. Material Data using ASTM D 638-02a.
