General description

2-Oxo-3-hydroxy-LSD is a major urinary metabolite of lysergic acid diethyl amide, or LSD. This certified solution standard is suitable for use in LC/MS or GC/MS applications for clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or urine drug testing. Known for its role in 1960′s American counterculture, LSD is one of the most potent psychedelic drugs ever created.

  • Advanced LSD derivatives biochemical analysis: Jang et al. detailed a simultaneous determination method for LSD and 2-Oxo-3-hydroxy-LSD in hair and urine, utilizing LC-MS/MS. This technique supports forensic and clinical investigations, reinforcing the compound′s utility in advanced biochemical analyses of LSD derivatives (Jang et al., 2015).

  • Analytical reference material for LSD in forensic applications: Johansen and Jensen presented a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method to determine LSD, ISO-LSD, and 2-Oxo-3-hydroxy-LSD in forensic samples.
