Gene Information

human ... ASPM(259266)

General description

The ASPM gene is the human ortholog of the Drosophila melanogaster ′abnormal spindle′ gene (asp), which is essential for normal mitotic spindle function in embryonic neuroblasts (Bond et al., 2002 [PubMed 12355089]). The mouse gene ASPM is expressed specifically in the primary sites of prenatal cerebral cortical neurogenesis.

Specificity

This antibody recognizes ASPM.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human ASPM.

Application

Anti-ASPM Antibody detects level of ASPM & has been published & validated for use in IH, ELISA.
ELISA: Tested in direct ELISA against the ASPM immunogen.
