General description
GranuCult® Prime Vegetable Peptone Broth Halal is a non-animal origin alternative to Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB). The media is granulated to ensure excellent solubility in cold water. The product is gamma irradiated and triple bagged to allow transfer to controlled areas.
Peptones provide nitrogen, vitamins, and minerals for the growing microflora. The natural sugars, derived from the peptones promote bacterial growth, and sodium chloride maintains the osmotic balance of the medium.
