General description

Yersinia Selective Supplement (CIN) consists of a lyophilized mixture of three inhibitors (Cefsulodin, Irgasan, and Novobiocin). The supplement inhibits the growth of accompanying flora encountered in the cultivation of Yersinia, particularly Y. enterocolitica.

Application

Yersinia Selective Supplement is an additive for the preparation of Yersinia selective agar for the enrichment of Yersinia spp.

For use with GranuCult® prime CIN (Cefsulodin, Irgasan, Novobiocin) Agar (1.03871)

Analysis Note

Yersinia Selective Supplement (CIN) should be used with liquid Yersinia selective agar base at a temperature of 45-50 degrees.
