General description

An analog of Cisplatin (Cat. No. 232120) with reduced nephrotoxicity. Displays potent antitumor activity.


Note: Athough soluble in DMSO, Carboplatin is reported to be rendered inactive due to ligand displacement by the nucleophilic sulfur of DMSO. Water with or without 5% glucose is recommended for solubilization prior to culture treatment.
