General description

A blood brain barrier permeable pyrimidinyl-aminothiazole compound that specifically interacts with TACC3 (transforming acidic coiledcoil-containing protein 3) and promotes nuclear localization of ARNT2 (aryl-hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator 2). Shown to significantly induce neuronal differentiation of cultured rat hippocampal NPCs (neural progenitor cells; EC50 ~ 1 µM) and in adult rats (6 mg/kg, s.c.) and suppress proliferation.
