General description
Native TIMP-1 from human granulocyte. Member of a family of inhibitors that participate in the activation and regulation of MMP activity. Forms a non-covalent stochiometric complex with latent and active MMPs. Binds to pro-MMP-9 and MMP-9 via their C-terminal domains.
