Specificity

Recognizes mouse Clock. The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with dPER or other known proteins.

SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen sequence is 92% conserved in rate and 90% in human. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Immunogen

An 18 amino acid peptide mapping downstream of the serine rich region of mouse Clock (Antoch et al. 1997; King et al. 1997).

Anti-Clock Antibody detects level of Clock & has been published & validated for use in ELISA & WB.

ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100ng control peptide per well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Physical form

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in PBS and 0.1% BSA.

Storage and Stability

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

During shipment, small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial. For antibodies with volumes of 200 μL or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container′s cap.
