General description

This certified reference material (CRM) is produced in accordance with ISO 17034 and characterized in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. This CRM is traceable to SI unit kg and measured against primary material from a National Metrology Institute (NMI), e.g. NIST.

Application

Platinum standard may have been used as reference standard in laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) method for determination of trace elements in high-purity platinum and trace levels of platinum in peripheral nerves.

1 g/L Pt in 5% hydrochloric acid (contains HNO3 traces), prepared with high purity Pt metal, HCl, HNO3 and water
