General description

AmberChrom 1X2 (formerly Dowex 1X2) is an anion exchange resin.

Application

AmberChrom 1X2 chloride form has been used in the purification step for the synthesis of methyl-esterified sialic acid analogs bearing a diazirine photocrosslinker on the N-acyl (C-5) side chain 5-(SiaDAz).
AmberChrom 1X2 chloride form is a strongly basic (type I) anion exchange resin for food & drug processing. it has been used to characterize a dual emission sensing luminescence material for water-dissolved oxygen sensing. AmberChrom ion exchange resin has also been used to demonstrate decontamination of (99g) Tc from spent 99Mo waste solution and recovery of (99g)Tc for research use.
Strongly basic (type I) anion exchange resin for food & drug processing; meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25
