Application

Dowex 1X4 chloride form is a strongly basic (type I) anion exchange resin for fine pharmaceuticals. Dowex 1X4 ion exchangers have been used to remove iodinated contrast media (ICM), water pollutants, from the water phase, suggesting a removal method for use in aquatic environments. Dowex 1X4 has also been used to determine partitioning of heavy metals (Ca, Mg, Fe and Zn) in cow milk.
Strongly basic (type I) anion exchange resin for fine pharmaceuticals; meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25.
