General description

Listeria UVM II Supplement is used as an antibiotic supplement in culture media to inhibit the growth of unwanted organisms while allowing the growth of the desired microorganisms. This antibiotic supplement is recommended for the selective isolation and enumeration of Listeria sp. The supplement consists of a combination of Acriflavin hydrochloride (12.5 mg) and Nalidixic (10 mg) with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. thereby selectively allowing the growth of Listeria sp.

Application

Listeria UVM II Supplement is recommended for the selective isolation and enumeration of Listeria species from various food and clinical samples.
