General description

HybriScan D Campylobacter is a rapid molecular test system for the qualitative detection of Campylobacter sp. The technology is based on the rRNA as the detection target from the microorganism of interest by means of specific capture and detection probes by sandwich hybridization. The rRNA contained in the sample is captured in a specific microwell binding plate by a specific capture probe. In addition to the capture probe, a detection probe is coupled to the target molecule. The detection is based on an enzyme-substrate reaction that generates a yellow color. The yellow color enables highly sensitive photometric measurement at 450 nm.

Application

HybriScan D Campylobacter is used for the qualitative detection of Campylobacter spp. such as C. jejunii, C. coli, C. lari, and C. upsaliensis in food, beverages, and water.
