General description

This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is a solution of aromatic hydrocarbons, primarily polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) ranging in molecular mass from 128u to 302u, in toluene. This SRM is intended for use in the calibration of chromatographic instrumentation used for the determination of aromatic hydrocarbons, primarily PAHs. For more information, please refer to the SDS and COA.

Application

  • Determination of retinol and retinyl esters in human plasma by high-performance liquid chromatography with automated column switching and ultraviolet detection.: This research utilizes the Superspher® 100 RP-18 endcapped LICHROCART® 125-4 column for the precise measurement of retinol and retinyl esters in human plasma, demonstrating high efficiency and accuracy in the HPLC method (Hartmann et al., 2001).

  • Determination of endogenous levels of 13-cis-retinoic acid (isotretinoin), all-trans-retinoic acid (tretinoin) and their 4-oxo metabolites in human and animal plasma by high-performance liquid chromatography with automated column switching and ultraviolet detection.: Utilizing the Superspher® 100 RP-18 endcapped column, this research develops a method for determining endogenous retinoic acids and their metabolites, emphasizing its application in pharmacokinetic studies (Wyss & Bucheli, 1997).

  • High-performance liquid chromatographic enantioselective assay for the measurement of ketoprofen glucuronidation by liver microsomes.: This paper discusses the enantioselective assay using the Superspher® 100 RP-18 endcapped column, demonstrating its effectiveness in the measurement of ketoprofen glucuronidation in liver microsomes (Chakir et al., 1994).

  • Rapid liquid chromatographic assay of glutathione in cultured cells.: This study highlights the rapid and efficient liquid chromatographic assay of glutathione in cultured cells using the Superspher® 100 RP-18 endcapped column, showcasing its utility in biochemical analysis (Leroy et al., 1993).
