Application
Drierite™ can be used as a desiccant in the:
- Dinuclear nickel-catalyzed asymmetric vinylogous Mannich-type reaction of α, β-unsaturated γ-butyrolactam and N-boc imines to synthesize vinylogous Mannich adducts.
- Catalytic epoxidation of propylene glycol acetates to propylene oxide.
- Rare earth-alkali metal heterobimetallic complex-catalyzed enantioselective Aza-Michael addition of alkoxylamines to α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds to synthesize β-amino carbonyl compounds.

Biological systems are exquisitely sensitive to the location and timing of physiologic cues and drugs. This spatiotemporal sensitivity presents opportunities for developing new therapeutic approaches. Polymer-based delivery systems are used extensively for attaining localized, sustained release of bioactive molecules. However
