General description
Copper(II) oxide on alumina (CuO/Al2O3) is a cupric oxide (CuO) supported on alumina (Al2O3), commonly used as a catalyst. Various Cu/Al2O3 catalysts having varying ratios of Cu/Al have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), electron spin resonance (ESR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Furthermore, CuO/Al2O3 also used as an oxygen scavenger.
