General description

DNAgard Blood is designed for the immediate stabilization of DNA in blood with the convenience of room temperature shipping and storage. The preservative reagent rapidly permeates cellular structures and membranes to stabilize and protect genomic DNA in whole blood samples. The use of DNAgard Blood allows a streamlined workflow from blood collection in the clinic or field to sample processing in the laboratory.

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product was Designed for Energy Efficiency. To see how Stanford incorporated Biomatrica Technology and saved substantial amounts of energy, see their published study:

Biomatrica technology enables safe storage of biological material at room temperature.

Biopreservation and biobanking, 12(5), 332-336 (2014-10-24)
Preservation of biospecimens for biobanking applications traditionally involves freezing while maintaining the integrity of the product throughout multiple freeze-thaw cycles. The protection and stabilization of DNA at room temperature (RT) may eliminate the costs associated with freezer storage and reduce
