Gene Information

human ... CTAGE5(4253)

General description

CTAGE5 codes for a tumor-associated antigen that is found in T-cell lymphomas. It functions a s co-receptor for TANGO1 and mediates collagen VII export from the ER.
Rabbit Anti-CTAGE5 antibody recognizes chicken, human, mouse, rat, canine, and bovine CTAGE5.

The previously assigned protein identifier O15320 has been merged into Q96PC5. Full details can be found on the UniProt database.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human CTAGE5

Application

Rabbit Anti-CTAGE5 antibody is suitable for western blot applications at a concentration of 0.25μg/ml.

Biochem/physiol Actions

CTAGE5 is a tumor-associated antigen.

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma-associated antigen 5 (cTAGE5), an originally identified tumor antigen, is overexpressed in various cancer cell lines. The cDNA encodes an integral membrane protein containing two coiled-coil motifs and a proline-rich domain. We show that cTAGE5 specifically localizes to
