Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 2-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. Will increase 12 fold within 10-14 days provided fresh medium is added at 48-72 hour intervals. Cell growth is slow on recovery from frozen. Resuscitate using 20% FBS and keep culture flask standing up until exponential growth is established.
