Cell Line Description
Neuroblastoma x glioma hybrid was formed by Sendai virus-induced fusion of the mouse neuroblastoma clone N18TG-2 and the rat glioma clone C6 BV-1.
Application
Hybridisation, fusion partner and virus studies: Sendai virus
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:4 seeding at 2x100,000 cells/cm2 . Cells adhere lightly, detach by gently knocking the flask do not use trypsin. 5% CO2; 37°C. The cells do produce large amounts of CO2, media changes may be necessary.
