General description
Amersham™ Hybond® LFP 0.2 PVDF, a low-fluorescent, 0.2 μm pore size hydrophobic membrane, is mainly used for protein transfer. It is optimized to use in western blotting applications for fluorescent detection as well as for use with the Amersham™ ECL™ Plex detection system. Low background fluorescence of this membrane results in high sensitivity. Its protein binding capacity is > 200 μg/cm2.
PVDF protein blotting membrane, provides low auto-fluorescence across a wide range of excitation/emission wavelengths. Low-fluorescent PVDF membrane optimized for fluorescent Western blotting applications.
Features and Benefits
- Offers low auto-fluorescence across a wide range of excitation/emission wavelengths resulting in higher sensitivity
- Offers protein binding capacity over 200 μg/cm2
- Compatible with various blocking agents, transfer buffers, and total protein blot stains
- Offered in popular precut sizes for laboratory application
