General description

Amersham Hybond® LFP 0.2 PVDF, a low-fluorescent, 0.2 μm pore size hydrophobic membrane, is mainly used for protein transfer. It is optimized to use in western blotting applications for fluorescent detection as well as for use with the Amersham ECL Plex detection system. Low background fluorescence of this membrane results in high sensitivity. Its protein binding capacity is > 200 μg/cm2.
PVDF protein blotting membrane, provides low auto-fluorescence across a wide range of excitation/emission wavelengths. Low-fluorescent PVDF membrane optimized for fluorescent Western blotting applications.

Features and Benefits

  • Offers low auto-fluorescence across a wide range of excitation/emission wavelengths resulting in higher sensitivity
  • Offers protein binding capacity over 200 μg/cm2
  • Compatible with various blocking agents, transfer buffers, and total protein blot stains
  • Offered in popular precut sizes for laboratory application
