Phevamine A is a bacterial (Pseudomonas syringae, Erwinia amylovora, …) virulence factor that promotes phytopathogens growth by suppression of host immune response in both A. thaliana and Nicotiana benthamiana. Phevamine A suppress plant immune signal potentiation by polyamines and arginine.
