T0901317 has been used in LXR agonist study in order to observe the expression of all dietary cholesterol-regulated genes in mice. It has also been used to stimulate the radiolabeled peritoneal macrophages from WT (wildtype) and Tg (transgenic) mice for cellular cholesterol efflux assay.
