General description

Empty Tube for Thermal Desorption features an etched unique number for sample identification and is packed with high quality adsorbents, preconditioned and sealed in a TDS3 Storage Container.
We are committed to bringing you greener alternative products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. Thermal desorption tubes are reusable at least 50 to 100 times, and reduces the usage of accessories like transfer vials, caps, and pipette tips, thus aligns with “Waste Prevention”. Also, these tubes eliminate the usage of toxic solvents like CS2 to extract the VOCs of interest, and thus aligns with “Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries” principle. Click here for more information.

Application

  • Performance test of a sorbent tube sampler with respect to analyte loss in collecting biogenic volatile organic compounds: This research examines the efficiency of Empty Tube for Thermal Desorption when used in the collection of biogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Highlighting its critical role in minimizing analyte loss, this study underscores the tube′s importance in environmental sampling and analysis. It also touches on applications across environmental monitoring and analytical chemistry, illustrating its utility in ensuring accurate data collection and integrity in laboratory settings (Ullah & Kim, 2015).
