General description
Quickly connect two pieces of fused silica tubing of the same or different diameters without the need for tools. The leak-free connection is useful to connect a guard column or transfer line, repair a broken column, or connect two columns (same or different phases). Silanized for an inert inside surface. For use with 0.10 - 0.53 mm I.D. fused silica tubing.
Application
DB5 MS column was joined to the mass spectrometer end to reduce column bleed entering the mass spectrometer using GlasSeal™ capillary column connector during chiral analysis. It was used to connect three fused silica columns during analyses of pheromone using GC.
Other Notes
We offer a variety of chromatography accessories including analytical syringes
