Application

Doxycycline hyclate USP reference standard suitable for use in specified USP compendial quality tests and assays.

Also used to prepare standard, system suitability stock, and sensitivity solution for the assay, impurity analysis, and performance test by using liquid chromatography in conjunction with UV detector according to the given below monographs of United States Pharmacopeia (USP):

Biochem/physiol Actions

Mode of Action: Doxycycline hyclate inhibits the inflammatory response to the Lyme Disease Spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi.

Activity Spectrum: Effective against a broad spectrum inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases in vivo.
