Application

TissueFab® - crosslinking solution is 200 mM calcium chloride solution, it is a crosslinking agent for chemical crosslinking of bioinks that contain alginate. Alginate is a naturally occurring anionic polymer typically obtained from brown seaweed, and has been extensively in bioink formulations, due to its biocompatibility, structural similarity with extracellular matrix of living tissues, and mild gelation. The sodium salt of alginic acid can be crosslinked by exposing to the crosslinker solution containing divalent Ca2+ cation.
