General description

Facile curable bioinks are ready-to-print bioinks formulated to crosslink without the necessity of light irradiation which can be detrimental to cell health. The bioink has a Gelatin base which as a natural protein offers excellent cytocompatibility and cell-binding motifs in order to mimic the native extracellular (ECM) microenvironment. The bioink can be crosslinked in a dilute solution of multivalent cations including TissueFab® - crosslinking solution (Cat#919926). TissueFab® - Facile curable HA bioink also contains hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural polysaccharide found ubiquitously throughout the body and cellular ECM. Cell can recognize HA through cell surface receptors CD44 and RHAMM and also degrade it through secretion of hyaluronidase.

Low bioburden: Bioburden is defined as the number of contaminated organisms found in a given amount of material. We test each lot for endotoxins as well as total bioburden (aerobic and fungal) to minimize unwanted interactions. Hyaluronan (HA) is a linear polysaccharide with disaccharide repeats of d-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-d-glucosamine. It is evolutionarily conserved and abundantly expressed in the extracellular matrix (ECM), on the cell surface and even inside cells. Being a simple polysaccharide, HA exhibits
