Specificity
eNOS/NOS III phosphorylated on serine 114
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 106-118 of human eNOS/NOS III (Ser114) (PRKLQGRPpSPGPP-C) with a C-terminal cysteine added for conjugation to KLH. The immunizing sequence shares 12/13 amino acids with pig and bovine eNOS/NOS III.
Application
Detect phospho-eNOS/NOS III (Ser114) using this Anti-phospho-eNOS/NOS III (Ser114) Antibody validated for use in WB.

Insulin stimulates endothelial NO (nitric oxide) synthesis via PKB (protein kinase B)/Akt-mediated phosphorylation and activation of eNOS (endothelial NO synthase) at Ser-1177. In previous studies, we have demonstrated that stimulation of eNOS phosphorylation at Ser-1177 may be required, yet is
