General description

GranuCult® prime MRS agar (de MAN, ROGOSA and SHARPE) is a Lactobacillus selective medium. This medium contains polysorbate, acetate, magnesium, and manganese, which act as special growth factors for Lactobacilli, as well as a rich nutrient base. As the medium exhibits a low degree of selectivity, it may support the growth of Pediococcus and Leuconostoc species and other secondary bacteria.

Application

GranuCult® prime MRS agar is suitable for isolation, enumeration, and cultivation of Lactobacillus spp. and other mesophilic lactic acid bacteria from all types of materials.

Features and Benefits

  • GranuCult® offers superior granulated culture media.
  • Safe and sustainable due to reduced risks associated with fine dust and toxic substance inhalation, resulting in a safer work environment.
  • Excellent wettability, solubility, and free-flowing properties
  • Convenient, with minimal component separation and clumping, even under warm or humid conditions.
  • High batch-to-batch reproducibility
  • Prolonged shelf life of up to five years
  • High number of test strains exceeding all regulatory demands
  • Granulation technology allows many supplements to be included, with no need to add these separately

Color is important for the consumer when making a purchase decision. Mare's milk and, thus, fermented mare's milk is little known to consumers. Thus, it is worth presenting research showing the extent of color change during the production and storage
