General description

Recombinant, mouse keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) consisting of amino acids 32-194 and expressed in E. coli. KGF plays an essential role in development, tumorigenesis, angiogenesis, morphogenesis, and wound healing. Mature mouse KGF amino acid sequence is 96% identical with rat, bovine, ovine, equine, and human forms and is active across species.

Biochem/physiol Actions

ED₅₀ = 10-50 ng/ml as measured in a cell proliferation assay using 4MBr-5 monkey epithelial cells.

Warning

Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)

Physical form

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm sterile-filtered MOPS, Na₂SO₄, EDTA, DTT BSA.

Reconstitution

Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.
