General description

Anti-CD45RO (T-Cell, Pan) antibody reacts with thymocytes and activated T-cells, but only on a subpopulation of resting T-cells. This antibody shows no reactivity with B-cells making it a good marker for T-cell tumors. In addition, granulocytes and monocytes are also labeled with this antibody. T-Cell, Pan has been designated as CD45RO at The International Leukocyte Typing Workshop.

We have characterized the lymphocytes in the synovium of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by immunohistochemistry using monoclonal antibodies directed against B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes, and antibodies directed against CD45RA and CD45RO, which define T-cell subsets. Both CD45RA+ and CD45RO+

Small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and SLL plasmacytoid (SLLP) are malignant neoplasms of small B cells that may have overlapping cytologic features. Entities such as SLL with irregular nuclear contours may pose additional diagnostic difficulties. We investigated

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) directed against the leucocyte common (CD45) antigen have been proposed as a useful tool for the differential diagnosis between malignant lymphomas (CD45+) and poorly differentiated nonhemopoietic tumors (CD45-). Thanks to the availability of mAbs directed against fixative-resistant

The use of the murine monoclonal antibody MB2 for identifying B lymphocytes in routinely processed tissue was evaluated and contrasted with the use of the monoclonal antibody UCHL1 for identifying T cells. One hundred and sixty eight surgical biopsy specimens

In the skin, separation of selected lymphomas from lymphoid hyperplasia can be challenging. The authors examined 45 cutaneous lymphomas, excluding mycosis fungoides (26 small lymphocytic or mixed tumors; 19 large cell lymphomas), 10 "atypical" lesions, and 40 lesions of presumed
